Why We Built This Site
Texas court access begins with the court that owns the case. In Starr County, the District Clerk keeps district matters for the 229th and 381st District Courts, while the County Clerk handles county-court records. Justice and municipal courts retain their own lower-court matters. A docket is the running record of filings, settings, and court action, but it is not the same item as a pleading or certified copy. We organize the official contacts, search paths, and request choices so readers can identify the correct custodian before they search.
What You Will Find Here
- Case lookups: ways to use docket search tools and clerk channels with a name or cause number
- Docket help: how Starr County criminal court dockets and civil court dockets differ
- Record requests: where to seek court case records, plain copies, and certified copies
- Hearing information: how to read the court schedule and confirm a setting with the right court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, not part of a Texas court, clerk, or public agency. Those limits matter:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes shown on some pages. They operate their own services and choose their own prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports free access to this resource. We do not set those fees, maintain those databases, or control the results they return.
